FAQ
Which audio formats are supported?
Export is available in WAV and MP3. Anything your browser can decode works as input (MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A and more). OGG, AAC and FLAC cannot be exported because there is no general purpose browser encoder for them.
Does converting reduce audio quality?
WAV uses a lossless PCM container, so it is identical to the source - only larger. MP3 is lossy compression: quality depends on the bitrate you pick (128 / 192 / 320 kbps). Higher bitrate means better fidelity and a bigger file.
Is my audio uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. No uploads, no retention. Your privacy is fully protected.
Why does it say the file cannot be decoded?
Your browser has no decoder for that codec (FLAC, WMA, AIFF and similar). Convert it to WAV or MP3 with another tool first, or try a recent version of Chrome, Edge or Safari.
